Project Update Presentation to General Committee/Council

A presentation and report for information will be provided to General Committee at its meeting on March 10th to present a summary of what we heard through community consultation, the Proposed Secondary Plan and CPP By-law Directions and next steps. More specifically, Council will decide whether to complete a comprehensive update to the zoning by-law for the remaining lands in the city or implement a city-wide CPP by-law.  

The report will be posted to the City's website on Thursday, March 6th.

Community Meeting - Preliminary Secondary Plan Concept

Explore the draft Secondary Plan concept and discuss community priorities to guide the development of the Community Planning Permit By-law and Secondary Plan policies for the Strategic Growth Areas.

Residents and other interested parties are invited to drop-in at any time from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM to learn more about the project, ask questions and provide feedback to the project team. Participants will have the opportunity to provide input and ideas on several components to guide the Secondary Plan and CPPS, including issues and opportunities, preliminary draft Vision Statement and Principles. There will be no formal presentation given.
