What's Happening

The City of Peterborough is inviting residents to learn about the rejuvenation of Riverside Park and East City Bowl, provide feedback and share ideas on what park amenities they would like to see. The park is located at 325 Burnham St. in Ashburnham Ward 4. The rejuvenation is required to address areas of deterioration for both the Riverside Park and East City Bowl ball diamonds.

In 2025, Phase 1 work will replace the outfield wall and score keeper's tower, as well as provide irrigation at Riverside Park. In 2026, Phase 2 work is proposed to replace the bleachers and score keeper's booth, as well as provide new dugouts, irrigation, and a new lighting system at East City Bowl.

City parks will be updated to current standards with a focus on improving accessibility within the parks.
