As part of the City's Waste Management Master Plan Update, some changes to the residential garbage collection program are being considered by City Council at it's meeting on February 27, 2023.

Green bins and educational materials will be delivered to households beginning is September. Associated costs are covered in the project budget. There is no additional charge to residents for the first bins distributed.

Beginning Tuesday, October 31, 2023 the City's new curbside collection program begins, with green bin organics and blue box recycling collected weekly, and garbage in clear bags, collected every-other-week.
