Proposed Extension of George Street Cycling Lanes

George Street has been identified as a priority in the Cycling Network Plan since 2012 and most of the cycling lanes are now in place. In 2021, a project is planned to preserve the pavement (called microsurfacing) on the last remaining section without cycling lanes, the section between Lake Street and Lansdowne Street. When a road is resurfaced or microsurfaced, it is an ideal time to put in cycling lanes because all new pavement markings will be needed. In this survey, you will be asked to provide input on the proposed cycling lanes.
